Hey there

Community Guidelines

Effective Date: 16 September 2025

Welcome to Schedzo.com (“Schedzo”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what is and is not allowed on our Platform. They apply to all users, including people who buy, book, browse, or offer locally made products and services on Schedzo.

By using Schedzo, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Nature of the Platform

  • Schedzo is an online marketplace where users can discover, book, purchase, and manage locally made products and services offered by independent providers and sellers.
  • Schedzo does not directly provide or sell any products or services. All items and offerings are fulfilled solely by third-party providers or sellers.
  • While we may review items or services and provide general feedback, we do not endorse, vet, or guarantee any provider, seller, or the products and services they offer. Your use of the Platform is at your own discretion and risk.

2. Where These Guidelines Apply

These rules apply to all content and activity on Schedzo, including but not limited to:

  • Product and service listings, titles, descriptions, prices, and images.
  • Profiles, portfolios, and business pages.
  • reviews, ratings, and comments.
  • Any other user-generated content you upload or share on the Platform.

3. Respectful Behaviour & Non-Discrimination

We want Schedzo to be a safe, welcoming place for everyone. You must not:

  • Child abuse, exploitation, or endangerment, including any imagery or services involving minors in a sexualised or harmful context.
  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances, including paraphernalia where prohibited by law.
  • Self-harm or suicide, including content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs self-harm.
  • Terrorism, extremism, and organised crime, including support, promotion, or recruitment.
  • Weapons and dangerous items that are illegal, restricted, or not permitted under our policies or applicable law.
  • Violent or graphic content that glorifies or incites violence.
  • Misinformation and disinformation that may cause harm, mislead users, or undermine public safety.
  • Political influence campaigns that aim to manipulate elections or civic processes in deceptive ways.
  • Privacy violations, including doxxing, sharing confidential or personal information without consent.
  • Spam, scams, and manipulative practices, including fake listings, misleading redirects, or artificial inflation of ratings and reviews.

5. Product & Service Standards

Schedzo focuses on locally made products and independent services. To protect buyers and the wider community, the following are not allowed:

  • Counterfeit or trademark-infringing products, including fake branded goods or unauthorised replicas.
  • Hazardous or unsafe products such as faulty electronics, flammable goods, choking hazards, or items with unsafe construction.
  • Recalled or prohibited products that have been banned or recalled by regulators.
  • Expired or spoiled consumables, including food, drinks, supplements, and cosmetics that are past their expiry or “best before” date.
  • Regulated or restricted goods offered without the legally required licences, approvals, or documentation.
  • Defective or misrepresented products, such as items advertised as “new” when they are used, damaged, or significantly different from the listing.
  • Environmental or hazardous waste products that require special disposal, such as certain chemicals, industrial waste, or toxic materials.

Service providers must ensure that any services offered (for example, repair work, childcare, health or wellness, personal care, or event services) are performed safely, lawfully, and in line with any professional or regulatory requirements that apply in their area.

You must use Schedzo honestly and in good faith. This means:

  • Providing accurate, up-to-date information about your products, services, prices, and availability.
  • Not impersonating any person, business, or brand, and not falsely claiming affiliation or endorsement.
  • Not engaging in fraudulent behaviour, such as creating fake bookings or listings to manipulate visibility or trust.
  • Not attempting to circumvent Schedzo’s systems, fees, or security features.

7. Communication, Messaging & Reviews

Communication on Schedzo should remain professional and respectful at all times. You must not:

  • Harass, bully, or abuse other users in reviews, or public posts.
  • Use threats, intimidation, or blackmail (for example, threatening negative reviews to obtain discounts or refunds).
  • Post reviews that are dishonest, irrelevant, or made in bad faith.
  • Offer or request incentives in exchange for fake or misleading reviews.

We encourage honest feedback that helps others make informed decisions about local products and services.

8. Reporting & Enforcement

Schedzo reserves the right to act on content or behaviour that we believe is harmful, even if it is not explicitly described in every detail in these Guidelines.

9. Relationship to Other Policies

These Community Guidelines form part of, and work alongside, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, the Terms & Conditions will usually take precedence.

10. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to our Platform, our moderation approach, or applicable laws. The updated version will be posted on Schedzo.com with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Guidelines.
