WHO
Tell us a little about yourself and where you’re from.
My name is Paul Kavanagh and I’m originally from Tallaght, now living in Ratoath. I’m self-employed and run my own business, Pinnacle Window Cleaning. I started the business in June after leaving a steady job of over 20 years to take a chance on working for myself and pursue something of my own.
Alongside running the business, I’m also an author. My book, For Each A Road, was published and released on February 27th. The book focuses on raising awareness around mental health and suicide among young boys and men in Ireland.

What services do you offer?
At Pinnacle Window Cleaning we provide a range of exterior and interior cleaning services for both residential and commercial properties. Our services include window cleaning inside and out, gutter cleaning, power washing, fascia and soffit cleaning, and more.

WHERE
Where do you usually work from?
I'm based in Ratoath and work across the surrounding areas, providing services for both residential and commercial customers.
PASSION
What do you love most about the work you do?
1) Seeing a customers happy smile.
2) What inspires me most at the moment is helping to raise awareness about suicide among males in Ireland. Three out of four suicides in Ireland are male, which is an alarmingly high statistic.
Through my book For Each A Road, I hope to highlight this issue and encourage more open conversations around mental health so that young boys and men know they are not alone.

FUN
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and I also box at Mullhuddart Boxing Club. Training and boxing are great outlets for me after a busy day or a hectic week.

One of the songs I enjoy listening to is “Birds in the Sky” by NewEra, especially when training or relaxing after a long day.
